Parametric medium are among
the most efficient to engineer the quantum fluctuations of light. Their
utilisation inside a cavity lead the group to numerous experiments,
which are split into two subsections :
Quantum
Imaging : engineering
the spatial quantum noise of light.
Parametric
systems : parametric
oscillators and quantum information.
Quantum
noise in non linear cavities with cold atoms
Thanks to laser cooling, it is possible to obtain very slow atoms with
high optical non-linearities.
Reducing
the quantum noise with semi-conductors lasers
Semi-conductors lasers can emit light with squeezed intensity noise. We
try to understand and improve this property.
